Our story
Family craft and local wisdom, since 1987
Bua Bhat Factory was founded in Chiang Mai with one intention: to make home products unlike anything already on the market. Thirty-seven years on, every piece is still made by hand in our own workshop, to four principles — trustworthy quality, inspiration from nature, family and local wisdom, and eco-friendly materials.
Our yarns and fabrics are largely by-products of other factories, given a second life. We dye until the water runs clear, save energy by working by hand, and compost what little waste is left.
